Zig Zag Band 17th Birthday: Nearly All Grown Up: The Zig Zag JukeBox Revival 

 

It only seems like yesterday we had our 10th birthday, but this year the Zig Zag Band will be 17 years old and thinking about being grown up and having to go out and do something sensible for a living. So, we thought we should celebrate the occasion in the same way as our 10th and let you choose the songs you would like us to play – yes, you, our brilliant and supportive home crowd, without whom we couldn’t have made it through adolescence… 

 

This is a fundraising event for Cancer Research UK, and the evening will consist of the following:

 

• The band will be playing new numbers that have been requested by people in advance of the event in return for a substantial donation pledge to Cancer Research. For some of these requests, the ZZB will be joined on stage by guest performers.

• On the evening itself, there will be a list of lots of songs we have performed over the past 17 years, and you will be able to donate to press play |> on the ZZB Juke Box to have that song played and dedicated to you, or someone else! 

​

The evening will be ticketed but will be open to everyone, so if you have friends and family who would like to take part, then we would love them to get involved too. And it goes without saying that there will be a well-stocked bar with local real ales and quality wines as well as some top-notch bar food to enjoy.

The event will happen on Saturday, 6th December 2025, in the Village Hall - it’s a fundraiser, a birthday party, a village knees up and the start of Christmas festivities party so, please get involved and get your creative juices flowing for what will be a very entertaining night out for everyone in true Selborne style!
